Dante Scampagnata (Day Out in the Countryside)

Join us for an afternoon outdoor-potluck in celebration of Festa della Repubblica (Republic Day), which is celebrated in Italy on June 2nd each year, to commemorate the day in 1946 when Italians voted to abolish the monarchy and become a republic, following the Second World War and the fall of Fascism.

We'll have live Italian music to enjoy while we eat and socialize. And a few fun surprises.

During the event, feel free to tour the working farm, visit the owner’s small art gallery with fruit & flower stand, and play corn-hole toss.

🇮🇹 Participants are asked to bring one of their favorite Italian dishes to share, labeled with its name and the Italian region of origin, and a beverage 🍷 to share.

🇮🇹 To help reduce paper and plastic waste, please also bring your own plate, cup and utensils.  (We will only have a limited number of cups, plates and utensils for folks who may have forgotten theirs.)

🇮🇹 Location, Italian cookies, sodas, and waters will be provided by Dante.

Cost: $10 for members* | $20 for non-members 

*Member discount will be applied when logged into an active membership account. If you are not yet a member, you can sign up for a membership when purchasing your ticket.

Registration and payment must be done in advance by May 27th, not at the door.  The address and special Parking information will be emailed to participants once registration and payment have been completed.
